A rare blend we can put together only a few times a year: light brown and honey-coloured Icelandic pelts, alternated with cream and long silver-grey locks. Warm without ever feeling heavy, and — like every Melange — sun-resistant. Made in your size, in our atelier in Brecht.

Our signature

Turn the rug over. The gold thread tells the rest.

Every Monroe is stitched together with gold thread by experienced fur seamstresses in our Brecht atelier — the strongest seam in the trade. It is our signature on the back of every rug, and the reason it will last for generations.

HandmadeNo two Monroes are identical. Not outsourced, not standardised.
Zero plasticsEcologically tanned Icelandic pelts, no synthetic fibres, fully biodegradable.
Lifelong repair serviceNo small print. Whatever happens, we repair it in the atelier, free of charge, for as long as you own it. In ten years fewer than five rugs have come back.
