Our latest invention — a mini patchwork rug made from genuine Icelandic sheepskins. Small in size, big in character.
Suitable for a chair, stool, at the foot of your bed, or simply on the floor — wherever you place it, it instantly creates atmosphere. And the best part? They fit together perfectly, allowing you to lay them side by side and create your own unique rug.
Choose your colour
The mini rugs fit together perfectly. Combine several pieces in different colours to create your own unique large rug — entirely to your taste.
Where will you place it?
- Simply vacuuming works excellently for daily maintenance.
- For stains: HG stain remover spray works wonderfully — dirt stays on the surface due to the fine structure.
- Stubborn stain? Snip off a small piece of hair — thanks to the fine structure, this will be barely noticeable.
Which size suits your room?
A rug always looks smaller on the floor than in your head. When in doubt, go one size up rather than down: a Monroe should carry the seating area, not float between the furniture. These are the rules of thumb we use in the store.

By the sofa
Let the rug extend at least 30 cm beyond the sofa on both sides and place the front legs of sofa and armchairs on it. That turns the pieces into one seating area instead of a loose island.
Corner sofa
A corner sofa calls for a large size, from 300 cm. We make that individually on request: the rug runs under both sections and stays generously visible on the open side. Request a made-to-measure quote.
In the bedroom
Slide the rug under the lower two thirds of the bed, with 60 cm on either side and at the foot. For a 160 cm bed that is 230 × 290. Only want a soft landing when you get up? Then 130 × 190 beside the bed is enough.
Under the dining table
Allow 65 to 70 cm around the table so the chairs stay on the rug even when pushed back. A 100 × 200 table needs 230 × 290; with chairs at the head of the table or for eight people you need a size from 300 cm, which we make on request.
How to measure
- Measure the zone the rug should cover: the seating group, the bed, or the table with its chairs.
- Add 30 cm per side (65 cm for a dining table).
- Keep at least 30 cm of bare floor to the walls; a rug should not touch the skirting.
- Tape the outline on the floor with masking tape and live with it for a day. Still unsure? Send us a photo of the room and we will draw the size in.

From 300 cm, round or with a cut-out, we make your rug individually on request, to the dimensions you give us. You receive a personal quote first; delivery in two to four weeks. Request a made-to-measure quote.
